What permissions required to create article

Probably the dumbest question ever, but my registered users cannot create articles, there is no option to do so. I have those permissions to create an article as a Super User, but not Registered.

I don't want to open the whole site up to users but they do need to be able to submit and preferably edit their own content.

What permissions should I provide and where should I provide those permissions? Is it in CJBlog or Joomla? Which components?
