Setting 'Public' to answer questions allowed ERROR

Hi again,

When setting public users ACL to allow answering questions, an encoding error is produced (no page rendered):

Error 330 (net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED): Unknown error.

Is allowing public users to answer questions not supported? Of note, auto approve of questions and answers was set to denied for public users.
