Make a menu link directly to a category?

Hello,

I made three categories for our 'community answers' implementation.
We can now create a menu-item that links to community answers, but is it also possible to link directly to a specific category?

We would like to make three seperate menu items that link to the specific categories.

I could use an extrenal link, but then we get an ungly looking url (no SEF).

Any idea's ?
