Alias transliteration

I want to suggest you to add an option of automatic alias transliteration. This is a very easy task, which I already completed myself for article titles. See this extension:

Basic idea is to let users set input and output character sets and just do some replacement on poll creation. This is very useful for non-Latin languages.

If you like this idea, feel free to take the whole code from aforementioned extension. It'll save you some time.
