List row styling in alternate colors

In CommunityAnswers when questions are listed the rows have alternating colours. Is it possible to get the COMMUNITY POLLS listings with alternating colour too?

I could do this myself if someone can just give an indication of the CSS code and where to put css references in the Polls template files?
