Unable to cast a vote [wheel spins indefinitely]

Hi,
I am having an issue when casting a vote or displaying the avatar in cp 1.5.11.

When the user arrives at the site http://www.douvote.com then goes into categories>technology (or any other category) the avatars are not showing and if they try to caste a vote they just get the spining wheel (non regitered users are not alowed to vote yet they should get the pop-error).

The only way to make this work is by having the user click on the "HOME" menu and then go back in categories>technology.

The ts steps I took:

uninstaled/instal the component
deleted the db tables
enabled/disabled system caching
enabled/disabled sef
cache clearing
user syncing
tried original theme
different browsers
different IP's
diffent Vote Restriction Method
modified the behavior.php to pick up the google ajax

In other words any help is appreciated or if this issue has been resolved in a previous poll but I missed it.
