No quizzes found after removing from course

I made a course and added a quiz to it. I changed my mind and removed the quiz from the course and deleted the course, now when I go to the page, the quiz doesnt show up. It still shows that there is a quiz in the category, but it wont show what the quiz is or let anyone access it. This didnt happen until after I delete the course. I can see the quiz in the admin area but not in the public area.
