Can't create surveys

Hi,

I upgraded today and have uninstalled the old community surveys, the cjlib etc. then re-installed.

When I am creating surveys I can't add the fields etc. because I get the following error:

Alert! An error occurred while processing your request. Please try again

When I close the error message there is a message (see attached image) which says processing. I have unistalled and re-installed 3 times now including the library file but nothing so far has corrected this. Also, when I uninstall from the Extension Manager, although it removes the component it doesn't remove the Menu items from the Joomla backend under Components. In the end I had to do this manually via the database

How do I get this to work properly?
