CJBlog - Jcomments & Points

I recently installed CJBlog and so far have loved the product. I don't have much use for the badge system and really wish there was a turn it off switch but I may just crawl into the template files and remove it. Either way my real question.

I really like the point system and have had no issues integrating it thus far. However I want to make my own rule to give x points to a person who comments on an article using Jcomments. I have looked at the documentation however it is pretty vague either that or I am just paranoid about diving into things with out a full explanation. Has anyone made rules for Jcomments they are willing to share or at the very least provide some better instructions on what is needed to create such a rule.
