Question about the plugin events

I need to set up a plugin to extend CQ. I read your article and I understand it but I'm not sure where to save this plugin: does it have to be in the plugins > communityquiz > quizzes folder or in its own folder (plugins > communityquiz > my_custom_plugin_folder)?
