Hi,

I have setup my system such that my community of users can create their own blog posts using CJBlog. And for that I have created an independent category along with sub categories for my users to post their blogs to.

I have configured the menu Options for CJBlog Article Form as Default Category = Yes & Choose a Category = the top level category that I want my users to use.

When the users login, they are able to post the blog only & only to this category and they cannot choose any of the child sub categories .

If I change the Default Category option to NO, then it shows the list of all the categories of my website and allows them to post to all categories. I dont want that. I want that only the category I have created for users and the sub categories of that top level category be used by my users.

I am very sure that when I had set it up, It was allowing to choose sub categories from drop down.

One more observation - The parent category itself has no parent. Yet, the Allow permission shows as inherited. The parent of the group Alumin is the group "Registered". This parent group "registered" also does not have the permissions. Then how is it showing inherited allow instead of allow?
