Unable to create new blog articles

Hello,

I am using Joomla 3.0.3. I have setup a category called "Blog" and all other articles are in "Uncategorized" category. I created a menu link for the blog on our main menu. I have put "Uncategorised" in the category to exclude in CjBlog setup. I created blog users and synced them. They all have Author, Editor, Publisher privileges. If I login as one of them and click on the menu for the blog I get a blank page with title "Latest Articles" and a option to "Submit Article". On clicking this button it doesn't show any option to create any new articles. It does show Articles and sub heading "Uncategorised".

Any idea on what's happening. This could be a Joomla issue but all these things are unexpected.
