Ip Address

i'm after a way to stop community surveys from storing ip address's without making the survey anonymous. (migrating a site and need to repopulate the surveys, but getting error message saying:
You have already taken this survey. If you did not take this survey, please contact the survey administrator.

any help would be much appreciated
