Ip address for anonymous surveys

I have an anonymous survey restricted to username only. I do not want to restrict survey to Ip address in case a couple use the same PC to complete the survey using their own individual username. However, someone has asked me to delete their entry but I can't because the Ip address is not displayed in their result. Any suggestion what I can do, or is this the reason why surveys are anonymous!!!
