Images attached to illustrate the following scenario: 1) When viewing the default page layout, the main menu bar works as expected; 2) When viewing a particular track, the first couple of menu items becomes non-responsive in that they cannot be clicked and they do not drop-down as expected when the cursor hovers over them.

I had a problem earlier ostensibly with multiple loaded java libraries but those seemed to be resolved when installing a plugin "Too Many Files" which looks for and removes multi-loaded libraries.
