i'm trying to use the new "list limit" option in CQ but i can't get it to work.

i'm using the default layout with the modern list.

i've set "list limit" to 50 in the component's global configurations.

then i compared the file /httpdocs/components/com_communityquiz/layouts/default/list/modern.php to my override file, and put in my override all the changes from the original file. but still my list only shows 20 quizzes.

so i removed all overrides, both for the component & for the layout, but still no change.

i went to the Menu-Item and under the "list layout" tab i chose "50" in the field "# Articles to List" - but still no change. my list shows only 20 quizzes.

can you please suggest how to fix this?

is it possible for you to list the files which need to be changed for this new setting to work?
i have alot of overrides which will take hours to re-built, it will be much faster to put in the necessery changes.
