Dear Maverick,

We have investigate, and found a database behavior that leave Track table 'xxxx_gpstools_tracks " check_out to "0" rather than NULL.

See pictures - GpsTools = 6.4.3 :

1 - Track Edit = check_out locked = date = OK

2 - Track after editing = check_out = unlocked BUT need a Joomla check_in as value = 0, -date = 0000:0:0

(before check_in = 0)

3 - After CHeck_in clear = only date is set to NULL and check_out remain to 0 causing Fantom Check_in

4 - DB after clearing Check_out.

If check_out values are set manually to NULL, Joomla check_in  cleeared!

This is v6.4.3 behavior, for your information. 

BTW, I've discovered Major release 7.0.0, I will wait our implementation tests and re-check this issue.
