ajaxSubmit is not a function

Hello,

I am having javascript issues with both Community Polls and Crosswords. In both cases I am receiving the error '$("#crossword-form").ajaxSubmit is not a function'. I am using the latest versions of both components as well as the jquery plugin. I have tried every combination of enabling/disabling plugins calling jquery, and no options have worked. The source code for both pages are attached.
