Can't make poll show up or work..
Hello Maverick, I'm replying to your response to my question about making a simple poll on the home page that all site users can vote on (without having to register).
I've done the steps you outlined, but it's still not working and I've attached a screenshot to show you what I'm getting from following your steps exactly. This is the same screen that I got when I was trying to make the random poll work also.
I've also gone through all the configuration wiki documents you have on your website and I still can't get it to work. Please advise.
Thank you.
Hi Joe,
Please download and install random poll module. Enter the desire poll id in its options to display specific poll. You can select the poll type as single selection radio type while creating poll itself.
One thing you should note that you need to create the " Community Polls Home Layout" menu item even if you do not show it on front-end. You can create it in any dummy menus.

Hello, First, I am the webmaster for this site, please respond to me at my DELETED, or I can simply be copied to the email sent to the account holder, Joe Moxley. I've been trying to post a question in the forum but it won't let me post there because it says "incorrect captcha" but there is not a captcha displayed for me to fill out. I've copied and pasted my question below, I'm trying to solve it ASAP as it's holding up a Newsletter because I can't make the poll display. (here is forum message I tried to post) Hello, I want to have a poll on my website's home page. I've created the poll and published it, and assigned it an module position but all I get is a list with a link to a page containing the poll. I do not want this. I want the poll to be in a module position, and with only the polling question, and the radio button answers. For example: Vote for the Best Webtext for 2013 1. Sticking Your Nose In 2. Creating Scientific Posters 3. Getting Started Writing on a Wiki 4. Audience Analysis in Formal Reports 5. Synthesizing Your Research Findings 6. Your PowerPoint Presentation 7. Email Guidelines for Students 8. Formulating a Thesis 9. Smart Searching 10. Annotated List of Useful Library Databases Each item, 1-10, is a radio button. Can you please advise me on how to set this up? I've installed CjLib, as well as the comm polls component, modules, and plugins. They are all active as well. I do not need to go to a dedicated poll page, but I would like to allow the poll to simply live in a module position and allow voting. Thanks.
