We are looking for a question and answer component, however looking at your demo we are looking for something a little simpler...

We want the public to be able to submit questions (ideally without having to register, or possibly login with facebook), but only one person be able to answer them... a staff member from the company. So every question would only have one response.

Is it possible for the component to function in this manner? There would have to be no links that say anything like "login to answer" and we would want to also disable the box that shows how many answers there are (because there would always only be one)
