Delete topic requires Edit state enabled?

OK. Did a few tests:

-With permissions in my category set to 'delete enabled' and 'edit state enabled' : I can press the 'trash' icon and the topic is deleted.

-With permissions in my category set to 'delete enabled' ad 'edit state disabled': I press the 'trash' icon and I got the message 'Edit state is not permitted' '0 items trashed'.

Access to viewing replies is restricted.
