Hi,

on our community sites we use Easyprofile as the central user profile component. I have made some adjustments to cjblog and cjlib to be able to:

• Use the Easyprofile avatar as the default cjblog avatar
• Use a specified Easyprofile text field as the cjblog About text

The benefit is that by doing it this way we have a very powerfull single point of user information and registration (my users where complaining that we had three locations where they had to enter (the same) user details: joomla, Kunena, Cjblog)

I have written other posts detailing how to integrate with earlier version of cjblog, but due to some 'under the hood' improvements on cjblog version 1.3.x these instructions do not work anymore and I had to redo parts of it.

Still hoping that the integration of Easyprofile will someday be 'out-of-the-box' :)
