I have created a survey - it is a "public" survey. I want logged in users with joomla "registered" status to be able to take the survey by clicking a link to the survey page.

As Super User the link works fine for me but not for Registered - they get the 401.

I have looked in Joomla admin at Components - Community Surveys Options. I cannot change any of the options under "Registered" to "Allowed" without getting a "conflict" and the "Calculated Setting" becomes "locked".

So what am I missing? Do you have detailed documentation on this component? I find many things about the CS interface non-intuitive.
