Managing own poll

Hello ,
how do i enable the user who created a poll to manage it ??
right now if i " a registerd user" create a poll i cant edit/unpublish it .
if i changed the permission to allow registerd users to manage polls then everyone can edit and unpublish other peoples polls .

so is there a way to do it ?
you know you could publish a poll and find out that it got a typos..
