Somehow I'm not installing CA correctly. It won't create a category of its own and pages stay on top level of my site.

Example -

CA home page is site.com/qa.html

pages and topics should be in a category like site.com/qa/open.html and site.com/qa/resolved.html, etc.

However, pages and categories inside CA are being displayed like site.com/open.html, site.com/resolved.html in the top level of my site. They are not responding to my menu alias.

I have tried it both with sh404sef on with the plugin activated and also with sh404sef bypassed using the joomla core and plugin deactivated. Same issue with both.

What am I doing wrong with my installation?
