Poor Extension...

Hey guys, I am posting by complaints with the component here, and I need honest answers otherwise I will be requesting a refund.

I need quotes to be assigned a category and an author. Authors should not be the one assigned categories. That makes the whole system very limiting. One author often writes/speaks on many different subjects.

Is there anyway this can be fixed? because as is, the component will not be useful for the majority of websites. It's too limiting.

Also, is there anyway to turn off the descriptions of the quotes? and can you turn off birth dates of authors? and author image uploads?

This component has almost no options to customize it and is pretty disappointing.
