i have a wierd problem when trying to add images as part of a Question or an Answer in CA.

i did some tests and these are the results:

- a guest user can upload & publish the Q/A with a photo.

- a super-admin can also do it.

- but a registered user who is not an admin, can add the photo to the text, but the photo does not apear after publishing the Q/A.

i'm using JCE editor, same editor for registered & super-admins (the specific editor profile in JCE is set to all users in the CA component).

i have latest versions of Joomla & all extensions, but this problem also accured with prior versions.

in QA permissions i have the "attache files" permissions set to "not allowed" for guest users, and "allowed" for registered users & super admins.

i'm not really sure where this problem is coming from or how to test it further.

do you have any idea how to solve this or what other tests i can do to find the source of the problem?
