I am having a number of issues when testting the Hidden URL parameter.

After looking at the wiki entry at https://wiki.corejoomla.com/How_URL_Parameter_questions_work_in_Community_Surveys

Steps I have followed

  Create URL Hidden Parameter DataSource

  ...added other questions

  Published Survey

Retrieved global url

xxx.xxx.x.xxx/index.php?option=com_communitysurveys&view=survey&id=3&catid=13&Itemid=101&skey=y2rFKBMuM4wWXbNG

  Why is this so long? The example shows a short url

I added the parameter to the url in the browser

http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx/index.php?option=com_communitysurveys&view=survey&id=3&catid=13&Itemid=101&skey=y2rFKBMuM4wWXbNG&DataSource=PAPER

After starting the survey the hidden url parameter question is displayed but the answer is not. 

Please see attached screenshots.

If the survey is completed there is nothing in the answer value.

Is the 'long' url causing the issue?
