Interested to know if there will be an update in the near future? Still having major issues with the current version: Still find that my maps display without the track or waypoint showing on top of the basemap..... sometimes will appear in you reload the page. Tried on various servers, but get the same problem. Can't be soley related to slow sever response time and google map API key dropouts? Really think there must be something in the code that could be optimised, to help prevent this.

Still would like to be able to use GPS tool with for example JAComment! Got in touch with JA comment and they told me that the issues were very much with GPS Tools. JA comment (1.0.3) works find with other extensions.

Would also like to be able to disable certain map types.... ie. configuation options don't work.

Sorry, but I would call the current version of GPS Tools an 'alpha' version for joomla 1.6. Needs a lot of work before it works as advertised. Have decided to abondoned my plans to release a site to share 'paddle' tracks within the SUP, Canoe and kayak community, at least until this joomla extension is somewhat more refined and works as advertiesed. Not worth the money at present. Hope an update is available soon.
